CONCERN AT R.S.A. VIEW (P.A.) AUCKLAND Ally 3
Deep concern at the resolution of the recent R.S.A. conference favouring the deportation from New Zealand to Germane of members-of the Jewish community who had arrived in this country in recent years and the confiscation of part of their property prior to deportation was expressed bv immigrant members of the Jewish community at a meeting in the Auckland Synagogue -at - which addresses were given by ll returned Je".’ish soldiers of this war.
The opinion was expressed lhat the R.S.A. resolution- if given' effect to. ”>ould be a fundamental breach of the British conceptions. The proposal' \Vas strongly' opposed to the spirit of the British constitution and to the cause of freedom and justice for which so many had died,
