The coupon system, as applied to men’s clothes, is understood to be about to change. At present 1(1 coupons are required for a suit. The new. system, it is believed, will raise this to 24 coupons and persons desiring suits will have to present their ration books at the post office for tiie necessary authority. This is to prevent the practice, now believed common, of using other persons books, particularly those of members of the one family. It will also have the effect of ensuring that available materials are more evenly distributed, particularly having regard to the needs of returned servicemen.
