Thermostats in Poverty Bay
Some 2000 thermostates have been fitted in the Poverty Bay ElectricPower Board’s area, said the engineer, Mr. F. Matthewson, at yesterday’s meeting of the board. Forty-one were fitted during February. Mr Matthewson commented that the installations were having the desired effect of reducing the unit consumption, a decrease of •>.37 per cent during the past month, following a smaller one in January.
