Because accommodation in cilv hotels is not available, Wanganui will lose the patronage of 500 or 600 visitors from Lower Hutt at Easter The organiser of the workers’ group travel scheme at Lower Hutt, Mr. B. A Brown, recently wrote to the Wanganui City Council asking if accommodation could be found for a parly of workers which hoped to visit the city at Easter. The town clerk, Mr C H. White, interviewed the proprietors of 10 city establishments and had to reply that accommodation could not be secured because of heavy early bookings.
