Jameson, of Onga Onga, first chairman of the newlyconstituted New Zealand Wool Council, and chairman of the Hawke's Bay provincial executive of the Farmers' Union, is to visit England shortly to attend a wool conference to be held in London. Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Staunton John Duff has been appointed a member of the Canteen Board, in place of Colonel C. W. Salmon, retired. —P.A. Mr. L. T.
