Naval Parade in Auckland Auckland’s streets were packed yesterday afternoon when 1500 men representing the Royal Navy, the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve and the Royal Marines, as well as a detachment of Wrens, marched through the city. While three hands rolled out tin' uplifting strains of "Henris of Oak,” long lines of sailors, a study in blue and white, marched with a precision that was a tribute to their training and discipline.
