SOVIET PUSH IN GERMANY DISTURBANCES IN BRITAIN (10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 9. Disturbances occurred at a German prisoner-of-war camp in north-west England to-night when the inmates heard the news from the Eastern • Front, says the Daily Mail. A camp official said: “The prisoners have taken the news very badly. There is no doubt that what is happening in Germany is shaking them.” The. trouble began among young Nazi prisoners who recently arrived from the Western Front. When the older men told them the news, some youngsters broke down and wept and others wanted to fight everybody within sight. The camp guards were called out to queil the disturbances.
