JAPANESE CLAIM
SUPER-FORTRESS LOSSES (10 am.) NEW YORK, Jan. 8
The Tokio radio claims that about 20 of a fleet of 70 to 80 Super-For-tresses, which raided west Kyushu on Sunday, were shot down or damaged. Two Super-Fortresses from Saipan l'aided Nagoya on Sunday night and again on Monday morning, starting fires which the defene'e corps immediately subdued.
