POLICE RAID SYDNEY FLAT SYDNEY. Jan. 2. One ot the most valuable stocks of liquor seized in Sydney for years was taken by Darlinghurst police vice squad from a flat at Potts Point. The liquor included imported Italian wines, liqueurs and champagne, of brands which are unprocurable in Sydney. It was valued at more than iIUUU. The haul consisted of 30 bottles ot brandy, 32 of rum, 60 of champagne, 22 of gin, 75 of liqueurs, many of inc highest quality, 21 of advocaat, 105 ol wine, including costly imported brands, five of beer and one of whisky. The liquor was added to the stoic at Darlinghurst Police Station, which is now filled with liquor of every type and worth thousands of pounds, seized in recent months by the vice squad. , J Application will be made to the Licensing Court by the police for its forfeiture to the Crown.
