I. “We appeal lo all those who may inspire the masses to contribute to the establishment of order with all (he means at thc-ir disposal,” said Dr. Damaskinos, the new Greek Regent, in a message to'the Greek people. “In the name of the sufl'oring Fatherland wo invite all armed persons to lay down their weapons immediately, and to have confidence in the Regency and its Government for a solution by just and democratic means. We insist upon the necessity for immediate agreement, for the cessation of the conflict as a pre-requisite to any solution.”
M. Papandreou lias announced that he is not participating in the new Greek Government.
