OBITUARY
MR. GEORGE H. PRICE Th death ot" Mr. Gcoige Henry Price, which occurred yesterday, severed a connection with the early days of the Gisborne disfciicl. 'Mr Price was born at Larag,” House, Enniskilleni County Fermanagh. Ireland, in 1858. and afiei serving with the Scotland Yatd Investigation branch m London, came to New Zealand in the smlfiyt ’ Tongariro. landing at Napier m 1887. Shortly after, he came to Gisborne and was associated with his brptheis farming at Patutahi He was a keen sportsman, being especially interested in' horse racing and shooting. Mr Price returned to New Zealand iia 19213 living in retirement .unti.l fus death! Upon'his return he still maintained his interest in sporting activities. He is survived by one brother. Mr. John Price, who resides m interment will take place at the Taruheru cemetery following a service in the Church of the Resurrection, Cook street. T.e Hapara, at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
