Majestic.—To-night sees the final showing of "Calling Dr. Death" and "Hat CheekHoney.” To-morrow Universal Pictures present the Andrews sisters in their latent and best picture “Swingtime Johnny.” a merry musical which also features Tim Ryan and Mitch Ayres and his orchestra. The associate feature "Ridin’ Down the Canyon" is an exciting musical Western starring Roy Rogers and The Sons of the Pioneers.” Chapter 12 of "The Flying Cadets” also will be screened. King’s.—" Jack London” traces the fabulous career of the noted author, war correspondent, and adventurer from his early struggles through his later amazing exploits, romances, and great triumphs. • . This adventurous. romantic story is being screened
at the King’s Theatre to-day and stars Michael O’Shea and Susan Hayward. Regent "Lo;t Angel,” Metro-Goldwyn-Mnyor’s charming comedy romance, is in its final two days at the Regent Theatre. Margaret O’Brien, James Craig and Marsha Hunt are in tho leading roles. The next attraction (commencing Friday) is "The Man From Down Under." starring one of the most popular of all character actors, Charles Laughton.
