ALLIED PUSH IN GREECE NAZIS BLAST* SALONIKA (9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 2G. British troops in Greece are 30 miles north of Lamia. Thus in three days they have advanced one-third of the way to the border of Macedonia, stated the British United Press correspondent. Returning Spitfire pilots report that the Germans arc blowing up parts of Salonika. Greek guerrillas have occupied Larissa. British forces, acting in close co-operation, are making further progress northward. Skopelo Island was occupied on Monday by troops landed from warships.
