Successful Young Pianist
Richard ("Junior”) Farrell, formerly of Wellington, is to play TTchaikowsky’s pianoforte concerto with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra according to a cable he sent to his former teacher in Wellington, Mr. Gordon Short. Richard, the son ol Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Farrell, now oi Svdnev, is 17 years old. Mr. Short raid lie doubted if any other bov pianist of his ago had achieved such a distinction.
