Transfer of Trotting Permits
At u special meeting of the Forbury Park Trotting Club in Dunedin on Monday the committee discussed the Trotting Conferences action in transferring the club’s permits to tile Winton and Gore clubs before the Forlmry club had decided not to use them after the abandonment by the club of its May (kites. Tiie club notified its decision to hold a meeting on July 1. hut was informed by the conference that the clubs permits had been assigned to Winton and C.bre. The chairman. Mr. B. S. Irwin, said the committee had no idea that the club, was abandoning the permits when it abandoned the May meeting. It was considered the el lib haii not received fair play, and it was resolved to protest to tiie annual meeting of the Trotting Conference.
