Coleman, S M in which Shurky ' Alexander, trading as “Money’s Worth,” was charged on four informations of offerin .j to sell goods to an inspector under the Price Tribunal at prices deemed unreasonably high. On one charge the defendants profit was 78 1-3 per cent, whereas the approved profit allowed by the tribunal was 47 to 474 per cent. On the second charge the defendant s profit was 73.83 per cent, as against the tribunal’s approved profit of 42* per cent. . The defendant was convicted on each of these charges and fined the minimum of £SO on each, with costs on both totalling £25 8s 4d.
