MARINER FOR TRIAL

(P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 21. A charge of stealing £1902 from Waiheke Passage Service, Limited, while he was a servant in the employ of the company was brought against Arthur Thomas Day, aged 50 married, bus proprietor and master mariner, before justices of the peace. Five other charges of forging receipts for moneys paid to him on behalf of the company were made against the accused, who pleaded not guilty and reserved lug, defence He was committed to, the Supreme Court for trial.
