14 JAPANESE SHIPS
(11 a..m) WASHINGTON, Jan. 31. United States submarines have sunk 11 more Japanese ships in the Pacific and Far East areas, states a communique. The ships were two large transports, one medium tanker, one medium naval auxiliary,, one small freighter, one medium cargo ship and seven medium freighters.
