INCREASED ACTIVITIES

Increasing activity on the part of the Gis borne Veterans’ Bowling Association is re ferred to in the report to be placed be fori the annual meeting to be held on the Gis borne green to-morrow- by the president, Mr. T. Hay.

The president’s report states that 39 members attended the annual meeting last year and 3G took pail in the games which followed. The afternoons held on the variom greens in Gisborne throughout the season had been well attended .and their popularity had induced the association to continue them this season, one having been held already on the Poverty Bay club’s green with very encouraging results, which was most promising for the annual meeting and tournament to be held to-morrowa
