SERIES OF EXPLOSIONS

LONDON, Jan. 16.

Saboteurs to-day caused a series of bomb explosions in Cppenhagen, says the Copenhagen radio. Fifty Danes using canal boats approached Burmeister and Wain’s engineering works, overpowered the guard and placed several bombs throughout the building. The bombs shortly afterwards exploded, causing considerable damage.

An explosion simultaneoulsy occurred on Copenhagen harbour, where bombs were placed in a radio factory.

A third explosion occurred in a book publisher’s office opposite the Copenhagen University.
