Reduction in Pea Yield
The lack of rain lias made a difference of 10 to 15 bushels an aero in the yields of crops of field peas in Canterbury. It is not expected that, quality will be affected.
Breaking and Entering Charge On the application of Senior-Ser-geant H. 11. Russell, a remand until January 20 was granted by Messrs. C. Blackburn and W. M. Jenkins, J.P.s in.the Magistrate's Court this morning in the case in which Patrick Francis Wawatai was charged with breaking and entering the shop of Ruby Thelma Macnee, 261 Gladstone road, with intent to commit a crime.
