Values lor inmli.s, particularly for tin. smaller type, improved sharply at the Wairoa stock sale on Thursday. Buyers were present from other districts, including several from Gisborne. Firms quote as follows: Williams & Kettle, Ltd.—Cull wether lambs, 6s 3d, 6s fid to 7s; do ewe lambs, Ss 10d; m.s. small to medium, 9s (id; small 2th. wethers, 18s; do. ewes, 15s 3d: low conditioned cull ewes, 5s Gd; store do., Ss 3d; light, fat and forward, 11s 9d.
