The Allied air raid on Sofia on Tuesday was the greatest tnus lai against a single area in the -Balkans, says a report from Budapes which is quoted by the Stockholm paper, Dagens Nyheter. It was comparable with the raids on Berlin. Many incendiary bombs caused tucs which were still burning yesterciay. The population is fleeing m thousands and the transport is insufficient to evacuate all wishing to leave.
