Show Entries

Show entries are coming in well for the Poverty Bay A. and P. Association’s Show on November 2 and 3. Yesterday was a very heavy day for the" receipt of entries, and to-day was promising to be even bigger right up to the closing time at 5 p.m. Late entries will be received until next Saturday by the payment of an extra fee. An appeal is being made by th« Women’s Representative Committee for food for catering purposes at the Show, proceeds from this to be devoted to patriotic purposes. Cooked meat, sausages, eggs, bread, buns, butter, lettuce, thick salad dressing, ‘■andwich mixture, cream, cakes, sweet pastry, scones, jam, marmalade, pickles, tea and sugar are needed and may he left at the Patriotic Shop.
