WOMEN AFTER THE WAR HOUSEKEEPER SCHEME (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 16. At the half-yearly meeting of -..the Dominion Council of the Plunket Society the courses of training provided for ex-servicewomen by the Rehabilitation Act were discussed, rind it was pointed out that none of the courses of training suggested, with the possible exception of university training, was especially suitable for ex-servicewomen. Already one local country rehabilitation board had forwarded a recommendation to the central board that consideration, be .given to the establishment of a housekeeper training scheme, to be available to ex-servicewomen.

The Plunket Society’s Council warmly approved this and asked its members to go back to their own localities and urge the extension of this idea to all parts of the. Dominion.
