DEBATE ON INCREASES
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, July 20,
The Lord Privy Seal, Sir John Anderson, opened the debate on pensions in the House of Commons today when the proposals contained in the Government's White Paper were discussed. Sir John Anderson said: “All reasonable demands have been substantially met. The conclusions of the War Cabinet are fully justified on the balance of considerations.”
