•Saturday week. The most important, of the two matches, that of the ladies* representative game for the Lady Carroll Shield, should prove very interesting. Poverty Cay are the holders ol the shield from their win last year. ’Pin* men's representative team will play for the Single Cup.

The following have been selected to represent Poverty Bay:— Women’s Representative Team. Coalkeeper, Mrs. Tupara; full-backs, Mrs. Algi< (Kia Toa) and Miss P. Blanc (Kia Toa) ; halves. Misses Jones (Waituhi), Willie (Wai tnhi) and Hankey (Amazons) ; forwards. Miss P. East, Mrs. Cotter (Y.M.P.), Mrs. Ereatarua (Waituhi), Miss Brown (Waituhi) and Miss Smiler (Waituhi). Emergencies: Forwards, Mrs. Le Bas (Kia Toa) and Mis: .T. Creig (Kia Toa); backs. Miss J. Jone:(Amazons) and Mrs. R. Watts (Kia Toa). Men’s Representative Team.—(.’oalkeeper. R. Watts; full-backs, M.
