NO REDUCTION
RATE OF EXCHANGE (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 20. The question of a reduction in the rate of exchange had not been considered by the Government. This statement was made by the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Nash, when he was asked to comment on a rumour that the New Zealand rate of exchange was to be reduced from 25 pci cent to 15 per cent. Mr. Nash added that there was absolutely no foundation for any suen reports. ____________
