INVITATION BY CLUB

GUESTS FOR A WEEK

(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 19. A unique oiler has been made by the Christchurch Union Jack Club, iwhich has invited all recently returned soldiers in other parts of New Zealand to be its guest for one week. The club has sleeping accommodation on its premises for 150 men, so that it will be necessary for returned soldiers to make application to the club before coming to Christchurch. Every applicant will be notified of the date on which he can be accommodated, and when he arrives he will be the guest of the club for a week.
