AXIS AIR REVERSE RESISTANCE WEAKENS LONDON, July 15. “Probably the most spectacular reverse the German air force has suffered in the war.” This is how the British United Press coi'respondent describes the air battle of the Sicily occupation. Six important airfields are already increasing the British and American air supremacy. They are attacking the remaining Axis-held airfields with continual relays of fighters and fighter-bombers.
