RUSSIANS ON TRIAL
ALLEGED AID TO NAZIS MURDERS IN KRASNODAR (11 a.m.) LONDON, July 15 The trial of 10 men and one woman who are accused of aiding the Gestapo in atrocities during the German occupaiion of Krasnodar has opened at an unnamed town in the Caucasus, says the Moscow radio. It is the first trial of its kind to be held in Russia. One thousand inhabitants of Krasnodar are stated to have been m” v dered ov tortured by the Germans, me accused persons, who are stated to have supplied the Germans with information, are being tried by a military court. Counsel appointed by the State is appearing for the defence.
