ATTACKS BY AIRCRAFT LONDON, July 7. Two more attacks on U-boats, one in the Mediterranean and one in the Atlantic, are reported in London. In both cases the attacks were made py Coastal Command aircraft. Both U-boats, which wore surprised on the surface, were destroyed. In the Mediterranean a Liberator crew spotted a U-boat as they were Hying out to make contact with a large Allied convoy. The U-boat apparently was waiting for the convoy and would have been well placed for an attack when darkness fell. After a depth-charge hit the U-boat, timber and metal'shot to the surface of the water. When the convoy passed the spot a patch of oil about half a mile long }vas all that could be seen,
