Petrol for Shearing
A statement that applications for petrol for shearing and crunching operations on farms hi future would be referred by the oil fuel controller to the chairman of the local primary production council for a report was made by the secretary, Mr. W. Alexander. at a meeting of the Auckland ccuncil. The acting-chairman, Mr. N P. Adams, said that this arrangement marked an important forward step. The council was now put inio touch with the oil fuel controller as advisers, and would be in a stronger position than before.
