KILLED IN AFRICA
BRITISH OFFICER M.P. (9 a.m.) _ LONDON, April 7. A Conservative member of Parliament, Major Edward O. Kellott, Who had represented the Aston Division of Birmingham since 1929, was killed in action with the Eighth Army. He was awarded the D.S.O. in January. He travelled extensively throughout the world, and in 1931 motored from London to Capetown, and the following year from London to Calcutta, via Afghanistan. The death is announced of Mr W. G H. Gritten, Conservative M.P. for The Hartlepools since 1929. He v/a.s a well-known barrister and writer.
