Dickers’ Reunion Plans

The reunion planned by the Gisborne Returned. Services’ Association f or Friday evening in the City llall promises "to rival the many successful functions previously conducted bv the association. Returned men from the Middle East will probably form a substantial element in the gathering, and as speeches and formal entertainment are to be reduced )o the minimum in length, opportunities for tire exchange of experiences and discussion of events overseas should be ample. It was hoped by the executive of the association that the lion. W. Perry, M.L.C., president of the New Zealand R.S.A.. would be able to attend this year’s reunion, but pressure of public and private business prevented his acceptance of the invitation. He has, however, expressed the hope that he will be with the Gisborne Diggers at one of their early subsequent gatherings,
