ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
AGRICULTURE OFFICE MR. R. B. TENNENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Feb. 3. Mr. Robert Browne Tennent, who has been appointed assistant DirectorGeneral of the Department of Agriculture, was born in Scotland SO years ago and served in the Great War. He came to New Zealand in 1921 when he joined the department as an instructor; Mr. Percy Walton Smallford succeeds Mr. Tennent as director of the fields division.
