AUSTRALIAN HEAT WAVE ■SYDNEY, Fob. 3. Three of Australia’s capital cities, Adelaide , Melbourne, and Sydney, have sweltered during a week of high temperatures. Bush fires broke out over a large part of Victoria. On six days Adelaide’s temperature was above 100 degrees.
