OBITUARY

MR. W. J. PARCELLE

An illness lasting some weeks ended on Thursday with the death in the Cook Hospital of Mr. William John Parcel le. ■ ■

The deceased had .been -for.many years on the staff of Messrs. Williams and , Kettle, Limited, ' and by his cheerful and obliging disposition had made himself very popular among the many clients of the firm.. Mr. Parcelle was born in Wales 52 yei*rs ago, came to New Zealand in 1919, and had resided in -Gisbornd ever since. ]Je was a member of many years’ standing of Masonic Lodge Abercorn and -the Gisborne Chapter, in both of which institutions he had attained to very, high honours. He leaves a widow to mourn her loss. The funeral took, place on Saturday, and was partly of a Masonic .nature.
