(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH* Dec. 14 A small vessel with 1000 tons of cargo was held up at Lyttelton, for several dayfc. The crew decided that the donkeyman should be accommodated in the officers’ quarters. The officers, .however, objected to having a member of the. crew in their quarters at the dictation .of the crew.; The men argued that there was insufficient room in their quarters, and a deadlock resulted.. The. vessel, which was overhauled at Lyttelton, is held up indefinitely.
