DIRECTOR TO RETIRE

(P.A.) WELLINGTON,, Deg. 14. The Director-General or Agriculture, Mr. A. H. Cockayne, is to retire on March 31 after three months’ leave of absence. He was appointed to the position in May,' 1936, in succession to Dr. C. J. Reakes, having previously been assistant director-general.
