Regent.—" Adam Had Four Sons,” starring Ingrid Bergman and Warner Baxter, is a frankly told story of a man pud his four sons, a governess and a wanton girl who disrupts their lives and blocks their happiness. A strong cast is headed by Ingrid Bergman, Warner Baxter and Susan Hayward. The featurettes and newsreels are bright and interesting. Majestic.—“A Woman’s Face” brings Joan Crawford, Melvyn Douglas and Conrad Veidt to the Majestic Theatre next Monday in one of the most powerful and completely different dramas the screen has seen for a long time. The associate feature will be “Sky Murder,” starring Walter Pidgcon. The musical extravungaza, “What’s Cookin',’" and "A Dangerous Game" will conclude tonight. King’s.—“No Greater Sin,” which began 'yesterday, is a picture backed by an impressive and powerful story. The film maintains a high level throughout. It does not pander to the sensational, but deals frankly and honestly with an all too present root evil in the life of this generation. Never before has the subject of social disease hern treated so forcefully and truthfully. The picture carries a message for all. Men and women everywhere have given it hearty approval for the well-acted parts. Dance Recital. —A sparkling programme ol originality and variety entitled “Chins Up Revue” will be presented at the Opera House next Thursday night by the pupils of Miss Bobbie Scott, A.R.A.D. (Adv.). London. Two specialty numbers will be rendered by Miss Scott, who lias arranged beautiful frocking and Bpecial lighting, effects for the programme.
