SOLDIER’S GALLANTRY
DROVE BLAZING TRUCK
(p.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. Dec. 3. The gallantry of a South Island soldier who drove a blazing petrol truck out of a military camp has been recognised by Major General A S. Wilder, who has sent him a letter of commendation and mentioned his initiative and courage in divisional orders. The soldier is Lance Corporal A. M. M. Wilson, of the Army Service Corps." who is attached to a field ambulance in the. South Island.
