Leaving an estate of £13,000, .the late Mr. Charles Henry Owens, a retired farmer, made bequests totalling £7600 to.various institutions, including £IOOO each to the New Zealand Instittute for .the Blind, the Auckland branch of the Plunket Society, the Henrv Brett Memorial Home for Girls. St. Mary’s Anglican Home, Otahuhu. and Community Sunshine Association, Auckland.
