FOOD FOR BRITAIN
LONDON, Sept. 27. The Minister of Food, Lord Wooiton, paid a visit to the Glasgow docks yesterday; and watched the food for Britain being unloaded from overseas. -•«. He • saw the first consignment of k dehydrated milk to reach Britain. Praising the dockers for the speed ji with which they were “turning the ships round,” Lord Wooiton said it was no mean job to feed 45,000,000 people. “That is what you are doing, , «hd doing well,” he said.
