Sometimes the cable being tested by him gets caught in the propeller, and whips round the fuselage of his plane with a force sufficient to decapitate a man. Wing-Commander Clouston wears a motor-cyclis.t’s crash helmet for his job. and Ills cockpit is covered in a steel mesh for added protection.
