STILL UNFIT FOR USE
JAP. BASES IN BURMA (British Official Wireless.) (10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 16. Reconnaissance by American planes shows that the Japanese base at Myitkyina, in Burma, is still unfit for use states a New Delhi message. The enemy bases at Katha, Mogaung and Mvitlrvina have also been damaged.
