LICENING CASE At a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court in Ruatoria on Thursday, Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., presiding, Michael Reefton Dunn was fined £5 and costs £1 15s lor selling liquor alter hours as licensee of Te Puka Hotel, Tokomaru Bay, on April 5. The case was previously adjourned from June 11. Renata Koran was fined £3 and costs £1 17s for the theft of a saddle and £3 and costs £2 8s 4d lor the unlawful conversion of a horse. James Gildea was fined 10s and costs for driving a car without a current warrant of fitness. A Maori woman, Maraea Huihui, was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within six months, if called on, for the unlawful conversion of a bicycle, . ' i
