(British Official Wireless.) (1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Aug. 13. Mr H. Guy, the Labour candidate, was elected M.P. for South Poplar by a majority of 2384 in a by-election caused by the death of Mr. D. M. Adams, the Labour member. _ \t the last general election, the Labour candidate had a majority of nearly 12,000 votes over his Conservative opponent. .
