HEAVY FIGHTING
CHINESE ATTACKS (3 p.m.) CHUNGKING, Aug. 13. Heavy fighting continues at Kaingsi. in which 1500 Japanese were killed apd wounded. About 20,000 Japanese are desperately holding Linchwan against Chinese attacks.
