TYRES OF CORK
PORTUGUESE INVENTION (1.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 14. According to the Berlin radio, a Portuguese invention of cork tyres has .been given a 200-mile test at Lisbon. The tyres showed remarkable resilience and are split-proof.
